Sattaria Dilks, RNC, LPC, APRN
Tari Dilks is a Registered Nurse with an Advanced Practice RN license as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse. Ms. Dilks is a Visiting Lecturer and teaches counseling courses at McNeese State University, Department of Psychology. At the Institute, she is a Family Nurse Practitioner, and also has a private practice in Mental Health Counseling.

Jerry L. Whiteman, Ph.D.
Dr. Whiteman received a Ph.D. in psychology from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. Since 1981, he has served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. At the Institute, Dr. Whiteman provides psychological evaluations as well as individual, group and family therapy. He has developed a Life Actualization Therapy model designed to help clients fulfill their potential and enhance relationships

Lloyd Kelley, LCSW
Lloyd Kelley received a Master's Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a Board Certified Social Worker and a Certified School Social Worker. At the Institute, he provides Clinical Social Work services on an out-patient basis for adults and children.

Suzanne Creel, LCSW
Suzanne Creel has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Tulane University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. At The Institute, she provides treatment of adults and adolescents with mood disorders, behavior disorders, addiction disorders, anxiety disorders and post traumatic stress disorders. She also provides court ordered substance abuse evaluations, child custody evaluations and divorce mediation.

Arthur Schafer, LPC
Art Schafer is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 18 years of experience in the mental health field working in both the private sector and with the state. He has a Masters' degree in psychology and is an LPC Board Approved Supervisor. Art is the Clinical Manager and Program Director for the Institute's Advanced Health Services program.

R. Keith Appling, LPC
Keith Appling is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience as a therapist. At the Institute, he is a Clinical Manager in the Mental Health Rehabilitation Program and private practice. Keith provides individual, marital, family, chemical dependency and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder therapy. Keith is also a certified ropes course instructor.
